Margaret Moore

The death has occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, of Margaret (Maggie) Moore, Cloonmore, Tarmonbarry, formerly of Longford and Aughagower,Co. Mayo. Predeceased by her parents Austin and Annie, and brothers Michael Augustine, Michael and Martin. Maggie will be sorely missed by her husband Frank, sons Alan and Tony (Leixlip),Tony’s wife Sarah and grandchildren Alex, Evan and Lydia, Frank’s sons Damian and Adrian, their partners and children.

Maggie will be fondly remembered by her sisters Pat and Teresa (San Francisco), Nancy Casey (Westport), Cathy, Mary and Eileen (San Francisco), brothers James and Joe (Letterkenny), Tommy (Aughagower), Peter and Tony (San Francisico), Rory (Sausalito) and their respective partners and spouses, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, large extended family and many good friends.

She will also be missed by the Moores of Sligo, sister in law Tina, nephew Aaron, his partner Tina and daughters Lana and Ruby, niece Aoife (Strokestown), her partner John and sons Oisin, Conor and Daire, the Mulvey families of Fisherstown, Kilmore and Newtownforbes, and her close friend Breda O’Malley.

The family wishes to thank the Medical and Palliative Care Teams in Mullingar, St.Luke’s and St. James’s Hospitals, as well as all those who were involved in Maggie’s care over the last few months.

Reposing at her home in Cloonmore 21/11/22 from 3pm to 7pm.Those attending are asked to be mindful of Covid 19 and continue best practice. House private at all other times, please.
